How do I retrieve my username and password?

If you know your username (very often your email address, but not always):

  1. Point your browser to lippisreport.com
  2. Click the Login link in the blue box labeled Register with The Lippis Report to the upper right hand side of your screen.
  3. Click the Lost Your Password? link on that page.
  4. Follow the instructions on that page. An email will be sent to you containing a new password. It may take a moment for you to receive it, so please be patient.

If you do not know your username, please send an email to tech support and we’ll help you to retrieve it.

How do I unsubscribe from your mailings?

  1. Login to your account. If you do not remember your password, please see How do I retrieve my username and password?.
  2. Once you’ve been logged in, click the Delete This Account button at the bottom of the page.
  3. Note: Doing this will completely remove you from our system and you will no longer be able to download files or listen to our podcast. Part of the Terms of Agreement with The Lippis Report is that you must sign up for our emails in order to download files from our site. The Lippis Report provides hundreds of downloads and podcasts completely free, but in exchange for this service we must provide value to our sponsors. Please read both our Terms of Agreement as well as our Privacy Policy for more information about our practices.

How do I get an account?

In order to download any of our hundreds of whitepapers and case studies, view our presentations, or listen to our podcasts, you’ll need a user account. Doing so is relatively easy, completely free, and involves only three steps. You’ll need a NON-AOL email address to signup for an account.

  1. Visit our website at lippisreport.com and click the Register link in the blue box to the upper righthand side of your screen.
  2. Fill in all of the required fields on that page and click the Register button. Why do we require so much information? The Lippis Report provides all of our sponsored content completely free of charge. In exchange, we do track which users are downloading what and provide that information to our sponsors. We provide your information only to sponsors for which you have downloaded content, and with strict terms of service stating that they may not resell your information or email address to anyone else. Our sponsors are among the most reputable businesses in the industry and adhere to industry standard practices regarding privacy. You can see a complete list of our sponsors here.
  3. A password will be emailed to the address you provided. Check your email to get your password, then return to the site and Login. You’ll be directed to your profile, where you can update your password and any additional information you’d like.

After you register, click the Return to Site link, or The Lippis Report logo to return to the site and begin downloading content. You also may want to visit our Download Library, a complete archive of every file that’s ever been made available via our site.

I get the error “There was an error opening this document. The file cannot be found.” when trying to download a file.

There seems to be a problem with some combinations of particular versions of Adobe Acrobat and Internet Explorer not allowing you to Open a PDF file directly. If you receive this error, the solution is to Save the document to your hard drive and then open it from there. Currently, there is no work around for this. For users who are able to, you can download Firefox or another standards compliant browser to avoid the problem.
