The North American division of Shimano handles sales and distribution of the company´s products over a broad area, and its sales staff is often on the road. Shimano American worked with Siemens to implement an IP-based phone system and unified communications capability that enables Shimano American´s revenue-generating employees to more effectively communicate with customers and collaborate with each other.
